My azalea in the garden is in bloom too. Must be the mild weather.

My neighbour has a magnolia in their front garden, it started flowering recently here in East Yorkshire too.

at this time of year the light levels are similar to those in spring so they are 'tricked' into flowering now. the temp fluctuations also 'help'. however they rarely flower as well as in spring. It should still produce flowers in the spring too.

many plants do this and some birds start nest building then stop as the temp drops and light levels continue to decrease.
