Yes I am fed up with them too but I do flag them with the time that I see them. It seems to go in phases, ots for a short while then nothing for ages.

I hope you do stay on the site OWD you'd be missed by many of us.

I am also fed up with them but anyone can join and post anything they like.
There is no way of knowing what someone is going to post so we just have to flag them when we see them.
It's a nuisance I know, but I can think of much worse things in life than that.

If you enjoy the site there is no need to leave just because of some inappropriate blogs now and then.

True Hywel. But it is infuriating when he takes up a whole day's blog space with his unwanted ads.

I know it's a nuisance Sue but what else can we do except flag them. It only takes about two minutes, and they get deleted in a short while.

I've flagged a couple of them but with less charitable feelings than you Hywel! I often look at the New Members column and it seems to me that there is an increasing number of advertisers recently, Still as you say its a free country...

I see them & flag them when I do, I can't say it worries me too much, all part of of web life.

I forget how I joined but maybe something like the "I'm not a robot" some sites require, the "tick pictures of cars" style would stop them?

They are mildly irritating for a second or two, but once they're flagged, I forget about them. Plenty of other things in the world that I get very exercised about, but these pointless posts are very low down on the 'annoying' list....

Either I don't see them or they don't reach people using IPads, so I get lucky.

I flag them when I see them. What really irritates me is when they linger on the site after they've been flagged 2 or 3 times! Just dang delete the darn thing!! Who is asleep at the switch?! They should be deleted immediately. Not tomorrow or the next day. Why give away free advertising?

I just flagged him myself. Since Christmas there have been a lot of these advertizers clogging up the members pic list and even blogs.
