Is it possible to divide a large clump of Dierama. It is very big and in the way.

Yes I have done it I but it will sulk for a while. I brought it with us when we moved and planted some of it in a big pot and a bit in the garden. The one in the pot has flowered but needs splitting again.

Yes I agree, they will sulk and mine didn't flower for 3 yrs but when it did it was lovely. lift with as much soil as you can so the outer sections are less damaged.

Thanks for the advice. I only want to move it about a foot, but I'll divide it and plant the other bit in a pot :)

Dieramas grow from corms, so when you dig it up, you will find lots of corms which are easy to pull apart. These need to be replanted at the same depth as before
