I planted this lovely Fatsia a few weeks ago. It’s in a shady place but I thought it would still do ok. When I looked at it today some of the young leaves I picked off were turning brown as is the one in the centre. Why is this? I’d appreciate some advice please.

Thank you, Bamboo. I’m relieved it’s nothing serious. It brightens up a dark corner under the pergola. Hopefully it’s sheltered there.

Most likely frost damage due to the cold nights recently - this variegated form of Fatsia (like a lot of variegated versions of plants) is not as hardy as the plain green forms.
