Help with plant ID please
This is self sown and seems to grow really quickly about this time of year in a shady dampish spot. Is it friend or
foe ?

It is indeed Pentaglottis sempervirens [green alkanet].
It is a friend in my garden as it is good for the bees and it composts really well. I can be untidy so some people don't like it for that reason. It is a native wild flower.
