Oh the dreaded lily beetle....never had it before....any advice please? I have seen neem oil mentioned...which I have but not yet used. Picked 3 off this am...but if seriously infested I would like to spray. help!

Neem oil does work on the grubs, but so does liquid soap spray. Not as deadly to Bees as Provado.

I’ll say thanks too, I think they are dessimating my zantedeschia. It’s a beauty with its white trumpet flowers..but hasn’t flowered in 2 years. I’ll try the liquid soap. This was a gift from one of my patients several years ago, I’d like it to keep going..

Lily beetles do not normally go on Zantedeschia so what ever is damaging your plant may well be something else.

Proviso seems to keep them away but is not full proof you just have to keep an eye out for them they are very clever at hiding from you.
