I am so pleased to see numerous buds coming through on my yellow meconopsis planted two years ago. I bought it on a visit to a NGS garden and was told it will only flower once and then I will need to collect seed. Does anyone have experience of growing these?
Sadly it seems I have lost my blue poppies...They flowered for about three years.

Thanks....not sure that I can remember the variety, but I will post a picture when it’s in flower.

You did jolly well to keep your blue ones for three years!
Is (was?) your yellow one the smaller Welsh poppy Meconopsis cambrica? Those seed themselves easily here in Pembrokeshire and pop up in various spots where I never put them, so be careful when weeding!
