Just created a small bog garden, tropical themed with ferns, gunnera etc. Can anyone recommend a good creeping ground cover plant suitable for this damp, shady project. (tropical ideal but not vital). thank you

How about Houttuynia cordata variegata, it spreads where it is happy. It's never been a problem with me, but could be I suppose. Terrible photo of it here, much better in reality.

I like Mitella as it produces a bright green leaf. then there are the various Ajuga's for leaf colours.
