I was given these and they are about 12-15" tall and a good deepish denim blue.
but what species is it please?

if it is then it is C. quamash. certainly the size of 30 cm fits the species. thanks for the suggestion.

Oh sorry, yes, its C. quamash... I wish I had this one, mine's the pale blue one
