Hello good people, I've had this plant for at least ten years, it grows between my shed and a border fence, doesn't ever get exposed to sunshine. This year I noticed for the first time many bees on it, they are there every day now I have never noticed bees on it before. Can someone please let me know what this plant is called?

I have one which grows in the short hedge and gets cut back to the height that I want and is very amenable! The other grows up the front of the house and gets hacked at viciously when it tries to grow where it's not wanted. the bees adore these and they have berries later which are loved by the birds! Only thing it might do is grow elsewhere from the bird's droppings.

I have another question regarding the bees. How long will they continue to occupy the plant? I need to replace the fence panel behind it but will have to wait as they are all over it every day. Don't want to annoy them.
