Thank you very much i have never come across field bindweed before and thought convolvus was the white trumpet flowered climber.

Its in the Convolvulacea family which includes the bindweeds.. Call it by its country name Morning Glory to avoid the name - much prettier than Calystegia

ooh no Steragram - morning glory is more commonly used for Ipomea, a much nicer annual plant that is not invasive at all. Calystegia is just nasty old bindweed as far as I'm concerned....

Actually morning glory can be massively invasive in warm climates where it is perennial it covers like a blanket in India and especially the Philippines.

Yes I know - alos in the States, where its listed in some places as something not to plant because it takes over and you can't get rid of it. But not the case here...
