Take a close look to see if this is happening from a disease or insect attack or even a lack of water. If not and is a natural occurrence take Owdboggy’s advice.

Thanks Owdboggy and Loosestrife will tie them in as there is no disease to be seen.

I would tie them back in or the base of the conifer is going to look awfully bare.
