I grew runner beans 'Polestar' this year and they have cropped magnificently, I now have a freezer full of beans ready blanched for winter.
But, I still have a tremendous amount of pods that I have saved for seed for next year, can anyone tell me please 'Will they come true'?

Hi Bizzyb
Many thanks, have saved enough to keep Argyll supplied with runner beans next year, definately sowing in tunnel again too, they cropped 2/3 weeks earlier than the ones outside! so had a succesion of about 2 months.
Your toady photos are brill! we are too high up here, no frogs & toads, have asked for rescue hedgies too but to no avail!
Thanks again

Hello Glas, I asked this same question a few weeks ago re pea's coming true from saved seed. I was informed that pea's & bean's should be ok. On that info I am drying broad beans, runner beans & peas for next years sowing. Trial & error is the only way I guess. I'll let GoY'ers know the results next Autumn.
