Live in Argyll very close to sea, house is quite high up and exposed on an open hillside, facing North/north west, but have 'big skies' so light levels aren't bad. It is very open and susceptible to prevailing winds, have created some wind break, and only grow those able to withstand wet and windy weather!
I learnt my gardening basics from my father at a very young age, and have loved gardening ever since, so much so that I now have a certificate from a home study course that I completed after 3 years studying at home.
