Hi all Im having a problem with my Laurus Nobilis they seem to be attracting the large blue bottle flies and as they are either side of my front door it a nuisance. Is there anything that i could spray on them to keep the flies away that wont damage the plant, thanks for reading...

This is a common problem and I am not sure there is much you can do. Are they in flower at the moment? if yes then I think that is what is attracting them so remove the flowers is a possibility.
