Got 3 large bags of ‘fresh’ horse manure for nothing. How/when can I use it in my garden to get the maximum benefit from it. Many thanks.

I’m going to leave it bagged a until spring then use it as a rotted down mulch for the base of my shrubs, especially my laurel hedge. Thanks again for your help.

either dig it in to soil and don't plant in it until next soring. or pop it somewhere ie compost bin or next to it and leave to rot down. or add as a top dressing around but not touching plants as a winter mulch.
