My runner beans took a serious bashing during a storm of high wind. Result badly burned leaves and no new pods. The beans left on vines are a bit tough, but would they be suitable for next years planting, or should I start a fresh next season. Thanks to anyone who can answer. Regards Sellina

you can leave the bigger pods on and let them finish developing and then harvest and keep dry once the pods go brown and split.
however you could still get new flowers and therefore beans if it stays mild enough. they wont come through the winter.
then next spring start new bean plants off.
