2 THINGS MY FRIEND HAS A MOTH ORCHID (PHALENOPSIS) SHE HAS OVERWATERED IT AND PROBALY OVERFED IT! IN ORDER TO MAKE IT RE FLOWER SHE DRASITCALY PRUNED IT (NOT JUST ABOVE THE NODE. sHE IS VERY IMPATIENT i HAVE ADVISED HER TO STOP WATERING ANY FURTHER REMEDIAL ACTION POSSIBLE?

aLSO JUST FOR INFORMATION, MY WISTERIA HAD 3 DIFFERENT BLOOMING PERIODS THIS YEAR - IN FACT THE LAST FLOWER HEAD DIED LAST WEEK - gLOBAL WARMING OR SUPERMAN TYPE WISTERIA

If the leaves are shrivelling, she may need to unpot it and do surgery to remove rotting roots, etc. Once repotted in fresh orchid bark, I would water it with a solution of a fertilizer-free, napthalene-acetic acid-based root stimulator, such as Superthrive. Captan fungicide may also be required. All in all, one of those things easier to prevent than to cure.
