Good afternoon all, I'm wondering if I should cut my rambling hop right down? Its gone up and through my pyracantha, its gone over now and I would like to do what's best Thanks

our neighbour always cuts hers down so that winter storms don't cause it to do any damage to the structures it is on.

I used to cut back our Golden hop once it had begun to die down, if only because it was so ugly when dry.
Worse of all was that the dried stuff would not compost and had to be taken to the Re-cycling place.
So, yes, cut away at your pleasure.
