Right, my turn. Been asked to id these berries in a Canadian friend's garden. Anyone?
TIA

Is the shrub in a Canadian garden, or is it just the friend who is Canadian? Looks pyacantha-ish, without the thorns, but those berries seem sort of grainy, and sightly elongated. Odd mix of green and orange on same twig, too. I'd guess Rosaceae. Phil J

Shrub is in Canada and no other information given. Personally I was thinking Pernettya

Maybe Autumn-Olive (Eleagnus umbellata) or its kin?

Tugbrethil, I reckon you're spot on. The berries have that graininess. Well done! Phil J

Thanks, looking at it I agree with the Elaeagnus. Should have known, we have one in the garden, though it has not yet berried so that is my excuse. Thanks muchly.
