I was given an amarillis at Xmas.It flowered beautifully .
The flowers have died and shrivelled ,now on the stem it looks like another flower is growing ,but not knowing anything about this plant,I have no idea.Also there is a ball grown by the dead flowers.
Anyone got any knowledge on this plant.

Thank you ,Seaburngirl,so you could see the photos? I can't ,been looking at my settings to try and solve it.What do you think the ball thing with the shrivelled flowers,is it some sort of seed or bulb..?

It is a seed pod. it will get quite large.

it is indeed a another flower spike if that is it in the last photo.
lucky you.
if not then they will just be new leaves. keep it watered and feed it every now and then.
