I would be very grateful if someone could suggest a cure for milky type mildew on my apple trees, mainly on the buds as they start to open, I have tried milk thinned down with water to no avail I'm afraid, Many thanks ,

Every apple that I have dealt with has had very fine white or ivory fuzz on the new growth, flower buds, and young fruit. Thank you Sbg for the name!

I am not sure it is mildew rather a natural powdery coating called farina.
