Is this a new disease? Not a trick question but a conundrum.

I found these black streaks on a Frit imperalis leaf.

Did wonder for all of 5 minutes then knew the cause.

Any one like to hazard a guess?

Did he walk through a flowerbed in oily boots?

23 Apr, 2021

No he didn't. But he did shove a newly painted black motor bike trailer into the bed to keep it clear of the garage and that is gloss hammerite paint!

Paint yep!
I decided to move the Hellebore Penny's pink as it was also in danger of being run over/painted/greased or stood on.

I do love him despite this :o)

Words fail me! He's lucky you do tolerate his deeds!

Crikey!!!! You can see the priority! Has he had to do a touch up job?
I can see why you’ve moved the hellebore!!! I did wonder what the answer was going to be!!!!
We love them all the same don’t we! ☺️

"Why Seaburngirl, how lovely that flowerbed is doing! The soil must be very rich there! By the way, how is your husband doing? I haven't seen him for a while...."
Just kidding! Loved ones are always worth the price of admission. We couldn't live without them.

He is far too big for me to plant! Though he has always said as far as he is concerned I could do that and save the expense of a funeral!

He realised he'd scuffed the paint and that is the brush marks from him touching up the bit underneath. Was he working on the trailer when you visited or was it behind my car Kate? Either way it is now down the side garden pushing against the 2 daphnes.

I’m thinking it wasn’t in view, Eileen. Think you’re right and it was behind your car!
Crikey! Those poor Daphnes!

Pleased to say we took it to it's new home today. It will live with another friend. He doesn't have a garden to get in the way. :o)
I posted the photo of the trailer in my last blog.
