Good morning, still chilly!
Can I use a small amount of turf in the bottom of a raised bed then cover with topsoil compost mix or will it grow though again or provide too much nitrogen? I an not sure yet what I am planting but it will probably be flowers, bedding and annual.

That is a good use of turf. put it grass side down though. It should be a problem at all. I have done this in the past.
