I have got a Akebia Quinata which has began to grow nicely but I have just found some leaves have black markings on them.Any help will be welcome

Does the black stuff rub off? or is the leaf dry and crispy in the black bits.
either way it is a fungal disease.
remove any leaves and dispose of in the household bin, not your own compost bin.

It looks like the fungal disease black spot. There is s treatment often sold for roses called Rose Clear and this might work.
