I am going to buy a leaf blower/ vac and can't decide which one. Any advice on what's good and what not to buy please.

Stihl have a great range of petrol tools, including a very useful combi- which, if you're prepared to spend the money, can come with strimmer, blower, hedge cutter, brush cutter etc. They also do a dedicated blower which I've found very reliable. However, I prefer to use a cane rake. It's how I was brought up! Phil J

Don't forget the earplugs for yourself and all the neighbours! : o ))
Stihl is a very respected brand, and wax earplugs available at Boots, I swear by them because of snoring husband.

I hate the things - but then you need to be a flaming Amazon to work one....or you will come in with one shoulder about six inches higher than t'other and in your ear-hole! I have tried a few of them - and It is far easier with a grass rake - and I have mountains of leaves!!! At least with a grass rake you are exercising your waist-line at the same time...LOL
