how long do laburnams live, ours ae about 30 years old and one of them had very small leaves this year and hadvirtually no flowers. It looks as if it is dry and breaking up and branches are falling on the ground

Be careful - we had one in our previous garden which toppled over in a wind - the roots weren't very deep, that's for sure! As Drc says, they don't live long. 30 years would make yours an old tree.

They are known as short lived trees and depending on soil conditions to. After 30 years it sounds as if yours have come to the end of its life? But a picture would give a better idea of the problem?
