When planting on tomatoes I was advised to always plant deep and they would develop more roots and become stronger plants but I have bought some grafted variety’s and now they need planting into bigger pots I am unsure as to their planting depth, any advice out there please

I would keep the bud union--where it was grafted--above ground. If you bury the upper stem, you will lose whatever advantage the rootstock confers.
