A friend bought me a “Cotinus Dusky Maiden” Autumn Colour, what soil is best, it will be going in a pot till the front garden has been sorted out by two gardens, so over grown at the moment :-0

Can you plant it so the sun will shine through it rather on on it? (Its doing that for a few leaves on the photo already!)

it isn't fussy according to the RHS.
