I have grown a lime tree indoors, it gave fruit last year, I wish to now see if it can be planted outdoors, is this possible in London's climate and if so what sort of soil and at what time in the year is appropriate?

Answers

Probably not, Amritlal. London is a fairly mild spot in the UK, but limes can't take temps much below -2 C. Better to keep it in a pot with fast-draining compost, and move it in to a sunny spot in the winter--preferably just before frost.
