I think you need to give some more detail please if you can Guest - how old is your plant, what is the soil like in your garden and what about the situation (as in sun/shade mainly) ? Do the leaves look healthy otherwise?

I have a fig tree in a pot! and this year it didnt get any leaves untill very late in the season so I didnt really expect any fruit! I think the harsh winter had a lot to do with it.
