we have a 3 year old Cordyline tree and wish to move it--it was approx 4 meters high --what sort of root system can I expect to deal with on removal--and depth?

You will need to dig as big a root ball as you physically can as its quite a big tree! The root system is quite fibrous, and ive nver know one to recover 100%. atleats a root ball of 6foot if not more and as deep as you can go. I think even if you can remove it, you will need machinery to lift it out. Prbably best to buy a new one i would think. You say it 'was' 4meters high..?
