My honeysuckle has refused to flower for the last 2 years.
It is 7 years old now, is well looked after and fed with chicken manure pellets. It looks healthy and bushy but for some reason refuses to flower. Any ideas people. This year is its last chance.

Too much nitrogenous fertiliser makes plants grow leaves at the expense of flowers. So the answer is to stop feeding it with Chicken pellets and give it some Tomato fertiliser which is high in Potash which encourages flower formation.

welcome to GoY,
yes I agree give it some tomato fertiliser or just stop feeding it and give it another year to settle.

The most likely reason it doesn't flower is not enough sun. They love full sun. I have the Coral Honeysuckle and it's very carefree but it needs full sun to bloom and wow it blooms gorgeous and it brings in hummingbirds. Lonicera Sempervirens. I don't water it or feed it. It's on it's own. Try to increase the amount of sun it gets. Actually too much fertilizer will also prevent flowering. Don't fertilize it and try to increase the sun exposure.
