Bought a little sprig of an Acer Palmatum ‘Emerald Lace’ which I want to plant in a pot. The idea is to grow it on over time. As it’s only wee what’s the best soil combination I should use to give it a good start? Also does it need a large pot or same size its in? Many thanks.

I'd go for a JI number 3 as it is most like soil.
