I have just been informed by the nursery I use that they will not be able to deliver my Lavender Duo Hidcote & Munstead (Garden Ready Plants) until 20th August (UK)
Is this going to be too late to think about planting them in the garden. I prepared the bed for them back in May this year.

they will be going into warm soil still in august so they should still be fine to plant. By garden ready are these large plug plants [modular plugs] or are they grown in pots? I just wonder how big they are going to be. Having said that, small plants will still grow away.
