Is Jade Plant (Crassula Ovata) hardy outside in the UK? Thanks in advance.

Jade Plant is hardy down to about 10º C, as long as it is kept dryish. Probably only good for the warmest areas, in very sharp drainage.

I put mine outside usually in the middle to end of May and bring them into a sheltered conservatory in mid October. They would not survive the winter outside.

It's the chilly night time temperatures that will get them. Follow above advice.

I apologize for my miscalculation: I should have said that it was hardy down to -4º C.
Here in the western U.S., Jade Plant is an effective landscape shrub along the west coast from Los Angeles, California to near Tacoma, Washington, though it needs a well drained sun trap to do well north of Portland, Oregon. As I said, growing it permanently outside might work in the very mildest parts of the UK, in a sunny, sandy, southern exposure. Practically anywhere else in the UK, it is most likely to freeze in the winter, unless taken inside, or into a cool greenhouse.

NO
It's ok to sit out in summer but the frost will do for it
