reminds me of thalictrum but mine flower mid summer.
T delavayi flowers about now so i guess that is what it is.

Looks like Thalictrum to me too but my Delavayi is lilac and yellow. Mine all finished ages ago.

Have a look at T. Hewitt's Double. That flowers from the middle of July up to the end of September.

I never knew of the Thalictrum family so new to me

there are a couple of native ones, common name is meadow rue. Foliage is ferny/aquilegia like.

Some of them are real seed thugs. T. aquilegifolia is nice but boy does it seed itself around.
