And another question...

My clematis Freckles had pale insignificant flowers for the past couple of years and I don’t know why. I grew it in my last garden and it was beautiful but here they are wishy washy and just hung their heads. Otherwise it’s rampant which the other wasn’t. It’s been in the ground for about three years and is east facing. Can anyone please shed some light on the problem?

« Can anyone tell me which bird calls ‘two it’? It was nothing like the owl call.
If you feed it, perhaps just sulphate of potash or tomato fertiliser but very little or no nitrogen fertiliser. Could aslo be that the east-facing aspect gives it the early morning sun which tends of burn off the early moring dew on the flowers.
