Will my newly planted peony flower this year? : Grows on You

Will my newly planted peony flower this year? I was gifted this peony 'Doreen' for my birthday back in March & planted it up straight away. I have planted it shallow but after initial growth of foliage nothing has happened. Would it like a feed or do they take a while to settle? I have got others in garden that are flowering. Thank you.
