Ha! At one time I tried to get rid of this plant in one of the beds but it wasn't having it so now I live with it, Ouch! One has to make sure you don't grab hold of the flower LOL.

Bear's Breeches, Acanthus mollis. It is a lovely plant but can, when happy, be a bit of a thug.
