do you have to prune it or cut it back

On plant Pandorea jasminoides

Answers

Not usually an issue in Britain - it's not frost hardy, so often keels over in winter, but certainly the topgrowth will be damaged.

In a greenhouse, you will probably need to selectively prune it occasionally to keep it under control, but don't just shear it back, 'cause that will remove a lot of flower buds!
