I have been gven this and I would like to know what it is and what type of soil it likes?

It looks like a Cape Fuchsia (Phygelius Capensis?). So called, I believe because the flowers look rather like Fuchsia Boliviana but it comes from South Africa rather than South America. Frost tender, likes sun and water in a well-drained soil. Hope this helps ... (Hope I'm right after writing all that!)
