I have just aquired some sylvestris bulbs, any hints as to planting i.e.sunny/shady, best in pots? would be most appreciated. My garden is south facing, but very small, jost a strip really, but well loved.

Free drained spot in full sun. Plant deep enough so soil is the same depth above bulb as the size of the bulb itself. Just think of a hot sunny hillside in Turkey.
