Shrub ID please

Can anyone identify this shrub from my dad's garden, please?
It has a small white flower, but as dad likes to keep it pruned, it doesnt have many.
I'm afraid I can't remember whether it's evergreen or deciduous. It grows very quickly.

Thanks Owdboggy - that was suggested by a friend, too, but when I googled for photos of jasmine, I couldn’t find one that looked the same as this. But it seems to be the consensus!
