Why is my honeysuckle not scented? Says clearly on label ‘fragrant’ summer flowers! Have asked several of my gardening friends to have a good sniff at flowers but no scent! Any ideas?

Was scented last year or is it a young one? Try spraying it with a little water in the evening.

Thanks both. It was only planted in April so might take a while to get established? It is flowering though and watered regularly. I will check scent this evening.

the scent is usually only apparent in the evening so perhaps that is why.
