Do you leave your acer out in the winter? Someone told me to bring into my garage during this period.

No, you don't need to. As I gather that it's in a pot, just tie bubble wrap round the pot to protect the root ball in case of severe frost. You could also put the pot in a sheletered place away from cold winds, too - but it can stay outdoors.

mine are left out on the bath. sheltered from winds and checked to make sure it never dries out.

I have two in pots and I leave mine in a very sheltered spot all through the winter and they are fine.

I dont know most of the household prefer showers. only the eldest girl and I enjoy a soak :o)
