would you recommend bare root or cell grown ?

On plant Prunus spinosa

Answers

Bare root would be larger plants and if you get them as soon as they are lifted from a local supplier, that would be the best way. Cell grown will be tiny.

Bare roots of any plant have a slightly higher mortality rate, but the survivors make much thriftier plants than the container grown ones--no chance of being root-bound, and growing in native soil from the start.

How do I say thanks?
