I've ordered Lichfield angel rose from David austin, but have no clue about staking roses. Can anybody suggest a low cost method?? I have in the past used bamboo canes, but they're not very pretty to look at. Thank you

Thank you. I think its because my garden is quite exposed, and the wind flattened the roses last year - I'll give the metal rings a go

the metal mid thigh height rings that splay out wards tend to be good at that job. though I don't usually find my roses need staking. Perhaps I have been lucky.
