Madly overgrown rose!
I have rose Cecile Brunner which is a glory when in bloom, but it has become huge, covering a pergola with a layer a couple of feet deep and now encroaching on nearby trees. I don't want to lose it. I can't deal with it myself, but I would like to know how and when it should be tackled before I get someone in to do the work, please.
