I have a grape vine we had a great crop of fruit the first time i was told to crop it to around half size and we havn't had any grapes since can you help also when is the best time to prune pear tree plum tree and cooking apple tree thank you Margaret

Previous question
You prune the grape right back to one bud away from the main stem in late Nov/dec. That's it. Always worked well for us for twenty odd years. Apples and pears in Jan/Feb for keeping shape you want. Take off extensions beyond fruit, if any, late July/August.
